Claudia Newby-Tynes Honored Among GLEBM’s 30 Audacious Women Shaping 2026
By Richard Akerede
Author and Kingdom communicator Claudia Newby-Tynes is recognized in GLEBM Magazine’s International Women’s Day 2026 Special Edition as one of the Audacious Women Shaping 2026.
Claudia Newby-Tynes, award-winning author, mentor, and Kingdom-focused leader, has been recognized in GLEBM Magazine’s International Women’s Day 2026 Special Digital Edition as one of the Audacious Women Shaping 2026.
Her feature, titled “The Ministry Is His; I Am His Pen,” reflects a life defined by obedience, faith, and enduring commitment to divine purpose.
Newby-Tynes made one of her boldest decisions in 1994 when she resigned from the Federal Government after 25 years of service to pursue what she discerned as God’s calling on her life as a writer and speaker.
“In the moment, fear gripped me,” she shared in her interview. “But hindsight says, ‘God ordered my steps.’ When I said ‘yes,’ Lord, to Your will and to Your way, fear began to dissipate, and courage and boldness kicked in.”
More than three decades later, she continues to serve as a national and international best-selling author, with her voice reaching audiences globally. Her journey has included overcoming childhood fears of rejection and public speaking, navigating professional rejection as a writer, and ultimately embracing her identity in Christ.
“Nothing is ever wasted in the Kingdom of God,” she stated, reflecting on the challenges that shaped her leadership.
In 2026, she and her husband, James, co-authored Signs of the Tynes (Our Journey of Overcoming and Becoming), a book released by GLEBM Publishers in honor of their 55th wedding anniversary. The book, which aligns marriages with biblical principles found in Ephesians 5:22-25, became an Amazon and International Best Seller.
The couple, known as “Team Tynes,” continue to advocate for what they describe as Kingdom Covenant marriages, encouraging couples to “go, grow, and glow together.”
Newby-Tynes also anticipates the spring 2026 release of her forthcoming book, Getting to Your There (How to End Up Where God Wants You To Be), which centers on divine alignment and following what she calls God Positioning System rather than the world’s Global Positioning System.
Her recognition as one of GLEBM’s Audacious Women Shaping 2026 marks another milestone in a decades-long ministry of writing, speaking, and mentorship.
“I am an audacious woman because I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God,” she declared. “He knows my beginning from my ending, and He ordered my steps for His will and for His glory.”
GLEBM’s International Women’s Day 2026 Special Edition highlights women across industries whose leadership, influence, and impact are shaping the year ahead. The digital issue is available through GLEBM’s official platforms.
Highlighted Milestone Feature
“Wow! That’s a loaded question because God and I have so much history together. His story is my history and testimony! The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
For Claudia Newby-Tynes, milestones are never isolated accomplishments; they are chapters in a divine narrative written over decades of obedience. Two recent achievements stand as powerful markers of that continuing story.
Her second book, scheduled for a spring 2026 release, Getting to Your There (How to End Up Where God Wants You To Be), reflects a deeply spiritual message about alignment and divine positioning. Claudia describes “There” as the place of purpose and provision—where God’s presence dwells perpetually and where needs, wants, and desires are provided both naturally and supernaturally by Him.
“God has purpose and provisions for us at a place called ‘There,’” she explains. “When we follow God Positioning System (GPS), and not the world’s Global Positioning System (GPS), we will arrive smack-dab-in-the-middle of our place called ‘There.’”
This message reinforces her lifelong emphasis on obedience, surrender, and trusting divine direction over worldly navigation.
Equally significant is her recognition as one of the 30 women nominated, honored, and awarded the title “Audacious Woman Shaping 2026.” She describes the honor as the “sweet icing on the cake” of her achievements—a confirmation of decades spent answering the call.
“God is not finished with me,” she declares with conviction. “My best is yet to be. I am grateful and blessed.”
For Claudia Newby-Tynes, every milestone ultimately points back to one truth: the Author of her story is still writing.

Thanks for the honor and recognition of this award. I love how God reshape and order my steps for His Glory. Where He needs me, I will continually raise my hand, “Here I am Lord, send me.”
